My final essay
I would describe South Central today as successful in one side but in the other side it still has many things we have to fix. It is successful because many people have achieved their goals. Even though their is still racism between people theirs nice people also. One positive thing in South Central is that you get to meet people from different cultures. One negative thing about South Central is the gang problems and violence.
The first event that has made South Central what it is today is the crack epidemic. I think that South Central was better without the crack. The crack made it worst because is a drug that you get addicted to and then die. Peple became addicted to this drug which lead to more violence, gangs and more people without family. This is important because just because the governement needed money they killed many people by selling crack.
The second event that has made South central what it is today is gang history. Gangs in the 1940’s are the reason why we still have gangs today. Gangs just make you do bad things. The one thing that bothers me is that white people acuse us the latinos/blacks about being gang members when they are the one’s that started them. This is important because of these gangs back then we have horrable things happening now.
The third event that has made South Central what it is today is immigration. I think that immigration is not so bad. But what makes immigration be bad is that while people intent going to another country in an illegal way is that they get murdered. People should have the right to go anywhere without being illegal. This event is important because immigrants suffer a lot and is not fair.
In conclusion,The first event that has made South Central what it is today is the crack epidemic. The second event is LA’s gang history. The third event is immigration. All these events are some important things here. These events have changed whar South Central is now. For some of these events South Central is known as a bad place to live in. I hope that South Central gets better and improves; we are improving step by step.
